My name is Renia. I am a Houston (by way of Little Rock, AR) based Food and Mommy blogger. My 14 year career in events created my ever-evolving love for Houston's culinary scene. Leading me to create a space to share what I so dearly love about this amazing city. As the curator of Gristle & Gossip my goal is to share the spots and products that I love. As a new mom, my goal is to share my special journey with other mom's specifically those with daughters. In additional to sharing my love for food and motherhood. Having an 8 month old leaves me little spare time, but when I get a moment I enjoy vegging out on the couch with a good book, or glued to the tube watching a What Would You Do? marathon. Additionally, my career in the events industry allows me to dabble in a little travel from time to time. As my platform grows I plan to focus my efforts towards highlighting more minority and women owned businesses.One of my main goals for 2019 is to be more intentional and consistent with my brand, with the hopes of branching out and starting a food & current events themed podcast.
