Father's Day 2017 in the DFW

June 14, 2017

Father's Day is quickly approaching. I grew up in a household with a single parent father. It was just me and him, so to say that I grew up in a strict household is an understatement. At one point we also lived with my Uncle (who was also a single parent father) and my cousins. I've also spent a great deal of time with my grandparents during my lifetime, so Father's Day has a very special place in my heart, and I love to see men that are doing what honestly is just what they're supposed to be doing, get recognized and celebrated. My daddy, Uncles, Grandaddy, Cousins and friends show that there are amazing men out there doing great things in the lives of children. I also want to take a moment to say that those who will be dealing with the loss of their father, grandfather, uncle or other father figures, you are in my thoughts and prayers. For those wondering what to do this weekend below are a few suggestions.
