My name is Sean Dorsett. I was born and raised in a small town on the Mississippi Gulf Coast called Mosspoint. I graduated from a HBCU "Mississippi Valley State University". I'm fortunate to love both of my jobs. My day to day job is in Aviation as an quality control inspector. I've been in Aviation for over 17 years and I love it. My part time job is running/blogging a craft beer organization named The Dallas Beer Squad.
I got into craft beer because I enjoy trying new and different things. I started blogging about my experiences at different events because I noticed there weren’t many people in the room that looked like me. I started hosting bottle shares in order to create an experience to let people of color and beer lovers know there were other beers available other than bud light! It's been over 3 years and blogging as helped me turn The Dallas Beer Squad into a craft beer bottle share phenomenon with consistent revenue.
