Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, I acquired a passion for cooking from years of watching my mother in the kitchen and my father on the grill. From Detroit I eventually made my way to Texas for undergraduate and then law school. An oil and gas professional by day, I started Cook Drank Eat not only as a personal chef service but also a social media company featuring food recipe videos as well restaurant and travel tips.
I have always been amazed with how food can transport you to a different time and place in your life. The smell of a childhood favorite your mother used to make or the taste of food experienced while traveling, food has the ability to elicit incredible emotions while captivating all of our five senses. I my opinion, Food is life. And life is food. A universal bond where we cook, drank, and eat together.
